us a sexy persona but also hide our late night schedules.

Now this gadget not only helps us take the best selfies,

but also keeps us in touch with our loved ones via

facebook, whatsapp, snapchat, etc. When we wake up

the first thing we look at is our iphone.

Last but not the least, we seem to find too much of the

last one(lol) . Girls at pearl believe they’re no less than

THE TOP 10 70’S FASHION TRENDS

The 1970’s style trends are back in fashion today such as: bohemian hippies  bell-bottoms, wide leg pants, fringe, feathers and lace; disco pants, sequins and platform wedges. Celebrities also encouraged bold fashion choices; Jane Birkin, a style icon, made denim hot! 

10. Platform Shoes:

Platform shoes were popular fashion trends on the disco scene among men and women. These shoes were mostly worn with bell bottom pants& jumpsuits. Made from wood, cork and plastic, platform shoes were decked out in all sorts of glitzy colors, materials and shapes so anyone could find a trendy pair for any occasion.

9. Jumpsuits:

Nightwear jumpsuits were tailored out of silky fabrics in bright colors and print, and were adorned with eye-catching embellishments. The cut and style was limited, and often focused on tightness. For daywear, jumpsuits were made of denim, cotton and stretch fabric, with comparatively less show.

Crop tops, halter tops and tank tops were trendy. Their style was exaggerated with diamantes and rhinestones. The tops were matched with hot pants, stone-washed denim, bell bottoms and the other in-fashion pants. Women also styled their outfits around pussy bow blouses and pleasant blouses which had attractive prints like floral and paisley.

Another famous 70s fashion trend, its popularity was mainly due to the Missoni brand that released many signature designs in the zig-zag striped pattern.  Found often on midi and maxi dresses, the pattern was great for slimming down certain unflattering aspect of the body. Others bought it for its tribal inspired appeal.

These very short pants took the country by storm, becoming a regular sight in disco clubs, on the streets and the runways of Paris and Rome. The popularity of the fad compelled some companies like Southwest Airlines to incorporate them into their company uniform. Hot pants are considered the epitome of cultural, social and industrial advancement of the 1970s.

Initially was popular with the hippies as it represented the relaxed, easy-going atmosphere of the era. Soon, it grew in popularity to become a mainstream fashion trend, in demand by both men and women.
