HOW DESIGN AND VISUAL
COMMUNICATION IMPACT THE SOCIETY
What we say interprets what we think and how we perceive the
environment around us. In our everyday
life’s, we come across many posters or advertisements on television that leave an
impact on us. When we get influenced by
any visual communication or design with a strong & powerful meaning it changes the way we
look at situations in the society.
In today’s world there are many advertisements and campaigns
with strong social causes that support equality in race, sex and religion.
This campaign was started by “UN WOMEN” against gender
equality and it aimed to show people what men expect of women and how even in
today’s modern society they are not treated as equals. This campaign leaves you thinking and makes
you want to make a difference.
Benetton is a brand that believes in having powerful

society.

next time you use a tissue.
Both these campaigns were on driving with full awareness and
on how carelessness can lead to accidents. They both are influential and
effective in changing the cautiousness in the society.

it’s point and inviting you to join the campaign.

and that has a positive impact in the society.

stop the Iraq War. In the posters they’ve written “What goes around, comes
round” to reach out to the local
Americans and try to put them in the shoes of the local people in Iraq.
